It is the mission of Healthy Kids Healthy Ozarks to make the healthy choice the easy choice regarding eating and physical activity in Boone and Newton Counties. We envision a community in which physical activity is a way of life and healthy food is accessible to families of any socioeconomic status; a community in which locally grown food is increasingly more available and trails and sidewalks connect neighborhoods to schools, grocery stores and parks, allowing residents to walk or bicycle rather than drive to their destination. Healthy Kids Healthy Ozarks is working to develop a community that is healthy, safe and more fun!
