Hb Mercado Certified Farmers Market

A certified farmer’s market serving the Huntington Beach community, including the low-income Oak View neighborhood. An initiative that not only provides a new farmer’s market for HB residents, but also gives Oak View residents a weekly opportunity to access affordable healthy foods and wellness resources. A social enterprise venture, coordinated by OVRP in partnership with Ocean View High School and VELA, an organization based in East Los Angeles, providing overall management and operations. A grassroots, not-for-profit market with proceeds going back to Oak View and Ocean View communities to support programs improving the lives of residents and students !
