Wrightwood Certified Farmers Market

The Wrightwood Farmers’ Market was started by Stephanie Carroll in the summer of 2010. Ms. Carroll was the co-founder of the Tri-Community co-op and began the farmers market as an offshoot of the co-op in 2010 as a way to offer more local fresh fruit and vegetables to the residents of the area. Ms. Carroll left the co-op to concentrate on building the farmers market in October of 2010. The Wrightwood Farmers’ Market became an official Certified Farmers’ Market in October of 201o. Fanci Farms was the new sponsor of the market, and Stephanie Carroll remained the manager. In the Fall of 2011, Ms. Carroll formed Treefrog Foundation, a nonprofit organization, to manage the market activities, of which Ms. Carroll was the founder and President. Terese Johnson was then hired in the winter of 2012 as manager of the market.
