Waverly Farmers Market

The Waverly Farmers' Market has been a part of the community since the 1970's and has supported local vendors in their efforts to distribute locally grown and produced foods and crafts to interested persons in the area. We are working to maintain our presence as a vital and positive part of the Waverly, Iowa community. Current Initiatives The Waverly Farmers' Market is undertaking several projects in an effort to improve our outreach to the community on behalf of local foods and vendors. Many of these initiatives are below: Increased marketing presence to educate the community about the benefits of local foods and products Improved market day programming for all community members All vendors are responsible for producing the product they sell. Efforts to encourage the establishment of more local producers to meet growing local demand. Numerous vendors are certified to take FMNP and WIC checks. The Waverly Farmers' Market is a member of the Waverly Area Development Group. The Waverly Farmers' Market participates in Buy Fresh Buy Local.
