North Beach Friday Night Farmers's Market

We extend a warm and sunny North Beach welcome to you! We are thrilled to help you discover "The Jewel of the Chesapeake Bay". Located in the northeastern corner of Calvert County, this diverse, bedroom community hangs out the "welcome" sign to visitors. North Beach offers the best of many worlds: a quaint, small town with access to large metropolitan areas like Annapolis, Baltimore and Washington, DC. Its seven-block waterfront contains a public fishing pier and a half-mile-long boardwalk with accompanying bike path. The boardwalk is dotted with benches for residents and visitors to linger and Bay-watch. Visitors flock to North Beach to enjoy casual and fine dining; pedestrian-friendly shopping for all budgets including antiques, fine arts, novelties and gifts; while beachcombers enjoy the sandy beach, fishing pier and delight in the search for fossil sharks' teeth. If you’re feeling energetic, you can rent a kayak, paddleboard or bicycle from the Welcome Center on the boardwalk. North Beach is home to the Bayside History Museum, which is home to an extensive collection of memorabilia from the Bayside community. The town holds lots of special events throughout the year that you don't want to miss, including the Annual Polar Bear Plunge, summer concerts, movies and campfires on the beach, our Annual Bay Harvestfest and Annual Christmas on the Beach festivities! Every Friday Night from May through October, the Farmers’ Market and Classic Car Cruise-In is the place to be! Enjoy local produce, wine, live seafood, fresh-baked breads, organic meats, bedding plants, and much more.
