The Farmers Market At Attleboro Farms
Attleboro Farms was founded in 1975. With two hundred dollars and the desire to become truly independent, Ray Aubin began a farm and seed supply business (at the current site of Showcase Cinemas on route 1 in North Attleboro) immediately following college. Servicing the farms in the ’70?s was quite a challenge in itself. As the agrarian segment declined and our rural vistas became single-family houses, we saw an opportunity to service more fully a different market demographic. We already sold plants and fertilizers to local farms, so it was not much of a leap to enter the homeowner/landscaper market. The current focus has shifted over the years to a full service, top quality garden center. Although
