Hightstown Farmers Market

Downtown Hightstown, Inc., established in 2008, is an all-volunteer group of residents, business owners and stakeholders dedicated to improving the visual appeal, image and desirability of the downtown area of Hightstown, New Jersey. We work on incremental improvement projects as well as assist other local groups in promoting their events and activities. Downtown Hightstown, Inc. follows the Main Street Four-Point Approach to downtown management using organization, promotion, design, and economic development as defined by the National Main Street Center and Main Street New Jersey. Downtown Highstown, Inc. is governed by a Board of Trustees, and all the work is done by volunteers. Mission To serve as an online hub for disseminating cultural, historic, educational, community, and public safety information about Hightstown. To assist various committees of the Borough of Hightstown, as well as local nonprofit organizations, with volunteer recruitment and informational platforms. To develop, secure funding for, and carry out incremental improvement projects that showcase art and culture; preserve and promote Hightstown’s rich history; and fight economic deterioration through the revitalization of public space and promotion of arts and family-oriented events.
