Bethlehem Farmers' Market
Campus Square was built in 2002, so it is a relatively new complex on the northern edge of Lehigh’s campus. It is a great place for students and townspeople to gather for live outdoor music, a bite to eat, and the Bethlehem Farmers’ Market. The complex was designed by Sasaki Associates, a consulting firm nationally recognized for creating master facility plans for colleges and universities. The architecture breaks the tradition of creating a visual wall between the campus and city and instead incorporates a plaza that opens out to South side Bethlehem along the New Street corridor. The businesses in Campus Square are part of the Downtown Bethlehem Association and the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. Campus Square, Lehigh’s Gateway to the South, houses:
