Over a thousand customers come to the Coppell Farmers Market on a given Saturday to find local, healthy food, develop a relationship with those providing their food, meet up with friends and neighbors, and be a part of the local food movement. Watching the trends and preparing for the future is challenging the CFM organizers as the number of farmers markets in the United States have increased 48% since the Coppell Farmers Market was started in 2003. The CFM Winter Market is one of the 900 markets in the US open during the winter. (USDA figures) These are exciting times to have an established and well attended farmers market!
