Shelburne Farmers Market
Shelburne Business & Professional Association was founded in1996 to give local business owners and professionals an opportunity to build mutually beneficial networks, to share information on current issues and new technologies, and to put our combined energy and expertise to work for the benefit of the town. In its 12-year history, SBPA has organized an annual Kids Day combining a day of fun with a safety-focused program for families, hosted the annual business-friendly Holiday Stroll to launch the holiday shopping season in the town, and coordinated the Memorial Day observance. Among SBPA's most successful and long-lasting contributions to the economic strength of the town are the Shelburne Farmers Market, now in its third year, and Shelburne Day which has been held in mid-August since 2004. The Farmers Market has become a dynamic magnet drawing crowds to the Parade Ground every Saturday morning from mid-May to mid-October with its bounty of locally-produced fresh produce … popular with both the shoppers and the farmers. Shelburne Day is a celebration of the local economy – a chance for the general public to learn more about the businesses, professional services and entrepreneurial spirit of the town. For anyone doing business in Shelburne or surrounding towns, seeking a product or service in the town, or contemplating establishing a business or offering a professional service here, the Shelburne Business and Professional Association is a source of information, experience and counsel.
