St. Stephen's Church is a congregation of more than 4,100 people representing a variety of experiences and backgrounds, liturgical styles and theological viewpoints. Ours is the largest parish church in the Diocese of Virginia -- the largest and one of the oldest dioceses in the Episcopal Church. It can be easy to feel lost in a congregation this size, and we provide a variety of ways for you to become engaged in parish life: to be fed by daily worship, small group ministry and Christian education; to be supported through fellowship and pastoral care; and to be led to exercise your vocation as a Christian by engaging in outreach locally, nationally or internationally.
