Ellsworth Farmers Market
Ellsworth is a unique blend of its rural culture roots and small town feel yet blended with a Twin Cities influence. Our community is located in the geographical center of Pierce County and is proud and privileged to serve as the County Seat. Our County Courthouse built in 1905 is modeled after the state capital in Madison and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Ellsworth was named after Civil War Colonel, Elmer E. Ellsworth, platted in 1862 and incorporated under Wisconsin laws in 1887. Ellsworth is considered part of the metropolitan area of the Twin Cities, just 30 miles away. Also, Ellsworth is the intersection of four major highways, Highways 10, 63, 65, and 72 for ease of access and commute.
